Jurisdiction lookup

When a US address includes a ZIP code but no state, Tax Determination now uses the ZIP code to determine the state. Previously, Tax Determination used only the rest of the address to find the jurisdiction. This could return a less precise result.

If a ZIP code covers more than one state, Tax Determination assigns the state with the highest tax rate.

Some addresses, mainly ZIP codes near state borders, might return different jurisdictions, tax rates, or tax decision codes than before. To get the most precise result, include the state in each address.
